Continuing education through the West Virginia University Fire Service Extension, RESA and Nationally Accredited Classes, provides our firefighters with the knowledge they need to successfully complete their mission safely.

MISSION – The mission of all firefighters across the globe is to provide fire suppression and public education pertaining to fire prevention. As with many thousands of other fire departments, we incorporate an abundance of other duties to assist the public and to provide that assistance twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. Whether you’re in a motor vehicle collision, an ATV wreck or you’re lost in the woods; whether your house is on fire or there’s smoke coming out of your furnace, the fire departments in Boone County are there to help.
